Research interests: History of the Middle Ages in East Central Europe, Historical Auxiliary Sciences, Late Medieval Equestrian Nomads in East Central Europe; Mendicant and Hermit Orders in Austria and Hungary.
Current research projects:
Arithmetic – German Arithmetical Treatises in manuscripts of the Late Middle Ages (1400-1522). A study on philology, history and culture based on a digital edition of the treatises (https://www.oeaw.ac.at/imafo/forschung/historische-identitaetsforschung/projekte/arithmetic)
Doctoral Thesis: The focus of the planned dissertation lies in the analysis and interpretation of the historiography of East Central Europe and its engagement with the Cumans between the 13th and 15th centuries.
