CfP: 4th Annual Late Antique and Byzantine Studies Graduate Workshop

The doctoral candidates of the research cluster Ancient, Byzantine and Medieval Studies and the Department of Historical Studies at Central European University are co-organizing a Graduate Workshop of Late Antique and Byzantine Studies which will take place on February 28, 2025, in person at the Central European University campus building (Quellenstrasse 51, 1100, Vienna | D001).

This workshop is conceived as a platform for graduate students from the University of Vienna and Central European University to present and receive feedback on their ongoing research, trial conference papers, foster intellectual exchange, and explore possibilities for future cooperation.

Graduate students from the University of Vienna and Central European University working in the fields of history, art history, archaeology, philosophy, religious studies, gender studies, literary studies, papyrology, palaeography, epigraphy, and any other neighbouring discipline, carrying out their research within the broadly defined geographical frame of the Eastern Mediterranean are encouraged to apply.
