Printing Costs Subsidy (Book)
Dissertations, habilitations, monographs, edited volumes, special issues, periodicals, etc.
What we do not fund: Publikation or master/bachelor theses, publications without peer-review and quality standards
Required information:
- Is the publication peer-reviewed? Details about the review process (contract)
- Which publisher and any agreements (date of publication etc.)
- Which kind of publication (monography, dissertation, habilitation, edited volumen, etc.)

Publikation Costs (proofreadig, translation, copyrights, graphics)
Proofreading/translation of book proposals/applications from early career researcher with a fixed-term employment contract; proofreading/translation of books, graphics, copyrights
Open Access: Can only be funded (then also in combination with printing costs) if Open Access (gold) publication is mandatory and if there is no other option (green open access within the embargo; funding by the FWF; publisher agreements with the University of Vienna; funding through project funds; appointment funds etc.).
What we do not fund: Proofreading/translation of articles/applications from tenured faculty; indexing; collation etc.
